The Friday 56 (#7)

I apologize for this being a day late. I didn’t have a lot of spare time between work and spending the fourth of July with my family.

Because I haven’t started reading a new book, I’ve decided to post yet another snippet from the novel I just recently finished. Enjoy!

Rules:The Friday 56
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that’s ok.)
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it) that grab you.
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post below in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url. It’s that simple.

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted by Freda’s Voice where I’ll post a sentence of two from page 56 of either the book I’m currently reading or a random book from my shelf. If you would also like to participate, click the link to the host’s blog page.

Futureless

Futureless (Beyond Oblivion Trilogy, #1) – by K.J. Draeghan

*Release Date: Monday, 28 July 2014*

“Being aware of your unconsciousness should undoubtedly make you conscious, yet Tara was sure that she was not awake. She was drifting . . . Nothing surrounded her but still everything pressed in on her. She had no set body, just a sureness of her existence. This plane was neither of the living nor of the dead. It simply . . . was.”

(pg. 356)

  1. You are welcome to be late any time. The Linky is open all week long. 🙂
What a deep 56! Sounds like a ghost story, or something where she has some kind of power… I’m quite intrigued at any rate… lol

    Happy weekend!

    • You’re always so good to me fredamans. 😀
“something where she has some kind of power…” You’re very very close, but I don’t want to spoil the book too much. Haha.
Have a great rest of your weekend!!!
